GUEST BOOK

I first met Andy when I worked in the office at Backus Cadillac. He was always such a delight. I was so grateful when my daughter and her husband moved across the street from him. He was so wonderful while my son-in-law was deployed to keep watch over my daughter and grandson. When we moved to southside and our son entered St Frances Cabrini, it was a joy to see Andy each Saturday evening. I will truly miss him. He was very special to all who had the pleasure to know him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Andy Anderson was probably one of the nicest kindest people I've ever known. His advice and straight talk put me where I am today. When I was in Iraq he watched out for my wife and son from across the street. When my mother was showing signs of alzheimers he was there to talk to. Our son was spoiled by his kindness of suger coated orange slices. He is the grandfather I always wanted. I learned of his passing today. My heart is heavy with this knowledge and my overwhelming grief is not easy to contain. I know that in time we will all heal at Andy's loss I hope not too soon. I am however overjoyed in the fact that he has been reunited with his wife Jean. When he spoke of her as he often did, A ray of sunlight would shine upon his face and then he would sort of smile. I am so very proud to have known and to have been mentored by Andy Anderson. Im even more proud to call him friend
